I especially enjoyed the speculation in Marvel's decision to ravamp/merge the Amazing Spider-Man publishing schedule, and what effect it'll have on future collected editions. It'll be interesting to see how things turn out.
And yeah, Chris and I are hoping to get together and discuss the monster that is Transformers Collected Editions. Should be fun.

I'm really curious to see how the thrice monthly Amazing Spider-Man does. What I love about it is that it is really the first test case for this sort of thing.
Some fans have been suggesting this single title with a faster output of issues approach for ages and now we'll have an idea if it can work or not. It is one of those ideas that I think sounds better than it actually is. There are so many potential downsides to it that I don't think it is the slam dunk sales booster that some people think it will be.
But, really, what will determine if it works or not is if the stories are good. If this focuses the Spider-Man comics into more cohesive and tighter storylines than we've been seeing then this could be a great this for Marvel even if sales don't go up immediately. This is the kind of thing that could take a while to build up momentum before driving the sales upwards.
Either way, it should be really interesting to watch the numbers on this.
