How many comics did you read today?

This is the place to discuss the episodes of the Comic Book Page podcast, the Comic Book Page website or pretty much anything else of interest to the Comic Book Page community...

I read about 60 or so yesterday. Still have about 128 to read. Hopefully I'll make a serious dent into that today.

I read another 78 or so comics yesterday.

Going into the weekend I was around 198 comics behind. Now I'm only 50 comics behind. At least until my next shipment arrived from DCBS today...

That is some stamina. I don't think I've ever managed more than 10-15 in a single day.

Crazy.

Unless 'read' is being used very loosely. ;)

I spent most of the day reading. I was averaging about seven comics an hour. So, this was a full reading of each comic and not a skimming. But, yes, it was a ton of comics in a short timeframe.

My max is in the 30-40 range in a given day. I tend to have lots of other stuff that drags my attention away from reading (wife&kids, computer, watching movies, rearranging/maintaining the comics room....)

Living alone has advantages at times. Saturday I spent time with my sister which included watching the Syfy Phantom mini-series from a while ago. I enjoyed it and it got me interested in the Phantom. I then spent all of spend Sunday and Monday reading. I hope to somehow manage to knock out most of the rest of the backlog before Comic-Con. Not sure I'll be able to do that but it is the goal.

My goal is just to get the backlog entered into my db and off my want list so I don't buy them again! :)

Yeah, I need to find the time to update my inventory before Comic-Con too. Actually, I think I just need to find more time.

Read another 100 Bullets issue. I'm only like 6-7 issues now, not really loving yet.

For the past couple of weeks: read some books I picked up from Costco - Prince of Persia and Amulet book 1. I'm halfway through Absolute Promethea v1, and also halfway through Hellboy v3 Library Edition.
