I don't know Snarked, but that is a really nice page. I like how there's two different timelines opposing one another - the main story going in the normal order, and then the alligator going against the standard top-to-bottom timeline.

It's coming out from Boom! kids. Probably not carried by most comic shops, but I'm sure you can find issues on-line if you look.

I won this auction on EBay for a really low price. Strong Guy is one of my favorite characters, and I doubt I'll ever find a Stroman Strong Guy

.

Because I got such a good price I contacted the seller and offered him less than he was asking for a sister piece (not on eBay, it was on comicartfans.com), and asked if he would be willing to combine shipping. He agreed to both, so I also got the following:

These pieces both look way better in person than in the scans. I suspect this is true of all pencilled pieces. I love how the two pieces tell a great little story - Strong Guy gets the drop on Mr. Fantastic, who somehow manages to get the upper hand. But then Strong Guy turns it around and punches Reed's head off. It's cool for me personally because I'm not a big Reed fan, but I love Strong Guy.

I have started to increase the size of very small art collection.
I purchased this Gary Frank Shazam page from Ebay. It wasn't an action page, but the facial expressions were amazing.

Nice pages, guys. Really nice tonal pencils on that X-Factor page. And Gary Frank is always great, I'd love to have a page of his art one day.

I just received this recent eBay purchase yesterday. Fully rendered 11x17 pencil pinup of Witchblade by Joe Prado. I paid $100 for it which considering the size and detail, seems like a bargain to me. I'm not sure if this was ever published anywhere but it looks amazing in person.

That's really nice, $100 is a good price for an 11x17 like that.

Just received this Lady Mechanika commision by Howard M. Shum. It's on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of heavy stock art paper in ink. He also sent me a signed copy of Fat Boy & Harvey #1. Only $17 shipped. A couple of great deals from eBay for me the last week or so.

Here is a nice big 11x17 penciled and inked page by TRAVCO! He is currently in his 2nd year at the Kubert school. He seems to have some skill and it's always nice to support a young artist.

Here is a 9x12 pen and marker image of Black Widow in her Avengers outfit done by Jonathan Chan. He works for Image in the production department I think he said. He also included a colored image from the original that he did in photoshop. I'm thinking of matting then together in a single frame.

I got a few sketches at SDCC that I never got around to scanning/sharing before now......here they are:
Free Sketches from the Elephantmen guys!
Obadiah Horn by Richard Starkings
Hip Flask by Moritat
Steve Buccellato was doing $5 sketches each day if you got something that matched the day's theme. I happened by on "Jungle Girl" day and got this Shanna for $5:
I got this from Tony Parker when I was down to my final $ to spend at con. This was $15:

I picked up this nice watercolor from Gabe Bautista of Ebony Hide & Miki (from Elephantmen):
Ebony/Miki is a companion piece to the Hip Flask & Vanity Case Gabe did for me at the Phoenix Con........
Seems like I have a series of Watercolors of "Elephantmen couples at Home" going now. I think I'll get Obadiah Horn & Sahara next time I see him at a con.

Here's my own personal scan of my Cerebus page.
I'm not sure what environment this was in for the past 20 or so years, but you can tell it was framed & the piece is slightly tanned where the image was exposed to light. A good case for using UV-protective glass Plus not displaying in direct sun.
