Geez! Took me over an HOUR to check out!

It was like trying to buy a SDCC ticket on-line.

Took me about 2 hrs this morning to find stuff and checkout. What sucked was things were dropping out of stock while I was trying to complete. I understand things falling off while they are in your cart but once you start checking out I think they should lock to you for a bit. I lost 2 masterworks hc's just waiting for pages to submit.

Still some great deals so I won't be too critical. And I picked up a couple of the $1 door buster trades.

That's what took me so long. I had stuff drop out of stock on me twice during checkout and I had to go back thru a few checkout screens that were taking ~10 minutes each to load.

That said, I got a boatload of $50 Dark Horse Archives for $10 each.

I was trying to check out right at midnight, and I couldn't get pass the front page. Then I pulled out my phone and tried again with no problems.

I got Fear Agent 1-3 and about X-factor hardcover for about 3 bucks a piece.

I don't think so. The format wasn't any different for mine and I did all my ordering through my iphone.

I landed about 20+ book for $80. Mostly books nobody was interested in, I'd imagine (filled in some gaps in my Spy Boy run), but also picked up the complete set of Crying Freeman manga, Omnibi 1 and 2 for both Ghost and The Mask, and a few other odds and ends.

The site was super slow though...

I ordered while the sale was at 70% off. I was out of town on Black Friday and I knew I wouldn't be near a PC when it flipped to 80%. I'm glad I ordered early because TFAW's slow server on Friday wouldn't driven me crazy.

sometimes it is simply that the cellophane wrapper is torn, other times it's literally that -- a dent or a nick in the cover. Sometimes it's a ding in the spine or some other flaw -- I've gotten a couple where there's some printing/manufacturing flaw on the cover. Something that means you can't sell it as new.

I've also gotten quite a lot where there was almost nothing wrong with the book itself -- minor tear in the dust jacket or cellophane torn.

In any case, I have satisfied myself that if it's a book I want and I want it just to read, then I'll buy nick and dent. I always prefer non-nick/dent first and then nick-dent if nothing else avail.

If you are buying it thinking you might sell it again as new, then stay away.

Got in at both 70% and 80%. The night of 80 was a test of patience. I 'lost' two books after I had completed the checked. Was contacted by TFAW saying the books they pulled weren't in good enough condition to sell. This is the second time that''s happened to me. Unfortunately they were two of the books I coveted more than the others. Regardless, got a number that were only going to be bought on discount. My take was:
