This latest weekly spotlight. (rebirth, cpt america 1)

I am a podcast addict, i love hearing conversations about things that i enjoy.

this latest week's spotlight discussing rebirth and captain america was exactly what i like. especially with the near page by page of the rebirth book. I really enjoyed the deep discussion about the books. Since I was given a week notice as to which books were going to be reviewed, i didnt feel as though it was a spoiler filled episode. I felt like i was given a chance to read the material and to form my own thoughts on the books before i was to listen to other people's thoughts. Especially with the bigger events, i hope we can continue the deep looks into the books, without fear that we're spoiling it, in future podcasts.

just my 2 cents

I love long episodes, because I can either drive and listen or listen while working since I have my laptop going while I work.

I enjoy longer episodes, too. As long as there's enough useful content.

nah. people who listen to podcasts a lot generally like longer shows. this is what we listen to while doing something we want to take our mind off of what we're doing (exercising, working, etc). It wasnt just the length though, which i did like, but i also enjoyed the depth to which you covered the issue. i like the near page by page reaction, so i can agree and disagree as it goes. not that the other episodes arent good, they are. The big event issues i think warrent a more indepth discussion (as i said, i dont think its spoiler since you said which issue you are going to review and people have the option to listen to the podcast at their leisure, before or after they read the issue).

DC Universe Rebirth #1 touched on so many things and many of those things were likely to be unknown to newer readers. The deep dive made sense to do for that issues.

I'm happy to go in depth on issues which deserve it. Unfortunately, those kinds of issues are fairly rare. Feel free to point out any future issues which you all feel need a deep dive.

I thoroughly enjoyed the deep dive into DC Universe Rebirth and Captain America. I would not mind more deep dives when they are warranted.

I too really enjoyed this episode, but I understand and appreciate the great job John & Drew do on a weekly basis. I don't think there is any other place, weather it be written, audio or video that provides such consistent in-depth reviews of comics (or any story-telling medium) yet is still so respectful of not just spoiling the stories being reviewed. While I appreciated the longer form review keep up the great work of providing reviews in the manny ways you see fit.

It was a great episode! I was thinking after all the Rebirth #1s and regular #1s are out it would be neat for John & Drew to have an hour and half to two hour spoiler filled discussion on their thoughts about the Rebirth launch and what series they are most excited about and what series look to be cancelled. Heck make it three hours I will listen!

Another great episode, even if I disagreed with Drew with a passion on one of those reviews...

Please keep these kinds of episodes coming gentlemen, when warranted

Check your PM inbox, but it was either the one where Daredevil revealed he'd never been blind or the one where Batman admitted he was the one who murdered his parents.
